Winn‑Marion is seeking a Panel Shop Technician II to join our Centennial, CO team. You will assemble electronic components, follow wiring diagrams, and mount assemblies into enclosures while working with a collaborative crew.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, color vision, and precise hand dexterity as you handle small parts and tool-driven assembly processes on site.

Qualifications

  • High School graduate or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of electronics wiring experience required.
  • Blueprints, schematics, diagrams preferred.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to work in a team.
  • Good color vision and manual dexterity are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components, subassemblies, and enclosures using hand and power tools.
  • Follow wiring diagrams and sample assemblies in a team setting.
  • Capable of using automated equipment safely and efficiently.

Panel Shop Technician II (Centennial, CO)

Pay: $24-$29 per hour

Position Summary

The Panel Shop Technician works with a team of panel builders along with the management staff. The Technician is responsible for assembling electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems: follows sample assemblies, receives verbal instructions, and follows wiring diagrams. Positions and aligns parts in a specified relationship to each other in enclosure. Crimps connectors, screws, bolts to join or secure parts in place, using hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment. Mounts assembled components to enclosure sub‑panels. Connects component lead wires to wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, or terminals using hand tools. Installs finished assemblies or sub‑assemblies into enclosures.

Job Qualifications
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution required.
  • 1‑3 years of experience with wiring electricity and electronics is required.
  • Experience with blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and point‑to‑point drawings is preferred.
  • Must be dedicated, hardworking, focused, and have a high attention to detail.
  • Must enjoy teamwork, learning, variety, and working with your hands.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive work while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Good eye‑hand coordination is required.
  • Must have great color vision and the ability to identify wires by color.
  • Hand dexterity is important, as small parts may need to be assembled.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Use of both standard and specialized tools for industrial automation assembly.
  • Learn the functionality of all common components and their proper use.
  • Safely operate a variety of tools and machinery in the assembly of products.
  • Capable of utilizing highly automated equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Help to train lower‑level technicians when required.
  • Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company employees, managers, and outside vendors.
  • Must understand the details of assembly drawings.
  • Comply with all safety work procedures.
Other Job Functions
  • Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates.
  • Keep work area clean, organized, and hazard free.
  • Effectively utilize the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Effectively manage time and follow directions.
  • Checks and responds to all company communications on all scheduled workdays, including voice mail, emails, and text messages. Makes sure that old voicemails are cleared regularly so that the mailbox does not get full.
  • Complies with all applicable Company safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
