Job summary

All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP) in Little Rock, Arkansas seeks a Production Operator to safely and efficiently manufacture, assemble, inspect, and package panel products. You will operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and keep the workspace clean while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

The role requires two years of prior machine or production operator experience in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and basic computer/MS Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Operate manufacturing equipment and load packaging onto machines.
• Follow safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Accurately perform basic math including unit conversions.
• Maintain attention to detail and quality.
• Must be able to lift and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Understand panel and profile identification.
• Verify scheduled production run against BOM and Packing List.
• Maintain QC standards throughout production.
• Perform startup and shutdown procedures.
• Use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers) for quality control.
• Maintain inventory procedures and communicate with stations.
• Monitor product for quality compliance and report issues promptly.
• Notify QC and Foreman of any product issues immediately.
• Keep work area clean and organized; comply with safety policies.
• Complete forklift certification and training as required.
