Job summary

All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP) in Vacaville, CA, with facilities including Little Rock, AR, seeks a shipping/loader to transfer bundles to trucks. You will inspect loads, ensure stacking safety, and assist with tarping and load sheets.

The role requires physical endurance, fluent English, and forklift operation skills; candidates must comply with safety policies in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, type, and verbally communicate fluently in English.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate forklift types safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count, stage, and safely load bundles on up to 60’ flatbed trucks for delivery to jobsites.
• Highlight each bundle on Shipping BOMs to ensure production accuracy.
• Inspect bundles for damage from forklift and report issues.
• Store and load bundles onto trailers safely according to load dates and SOA numbers.
• Follow tarping and load-security procedures and obtain correct load sheets.
• Complete training and adhere to all safety and company policies.
