Job summary

Bachoco USA in Fort Smith, AR is seeking a Panel Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30 pm–12:30 am, Sunday–Thursday). Training on 1st shift beginning at 8:00 am until complete, with a starting pay of $19.75 per hour and a 1/hour night shift premium plus benefits.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper feed mixing, batching feed for the pellet mill, coordinating production with the dispatcher, and completing paperwork for downtime and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read and write simple correspondence; present information to customers and employees.
• Ability to perform basic math and understand units of measure.
• Must be able to operate basic computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Measures all feed bins to check inventory.
• Batches feed that goes through the pellet mill.
• Works with dispatcher to schedule production.
• Fills out paperwork to track production downtime.
• Performs warehouse inventory counts.
• Fills pre-mix bin with 50-pound bags of ingredients.
• Answers the phone and coordinates with trucks.
• Sets up trucks and directs hook-up.

Job Title: 2ndShift - Panel Operator

Dept: 217 - Fort Smith Feed Mill

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday

Shift: 3:30 pm – 12:30 am

Pay Rate: $ 19.75 per hour

(Training will be on 1st shift 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until complete)

Summary Makes sure that the feed is mixed properly by performing the following duties.
