Job summary

Advanced Industrial Devices in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Custom Panel Builder to assemble and wire electrical control panels in accordance with electrical schematics. You’ll work with Variable Frequency Drive, Soft Start, and PLC or relay logic panels, in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include reading schematic symbols, sizing power cabling per NEC, and using hand and power tools safely. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential for success.

Summary:

Assemble and wire electrical control panels to electrical schematics. Panels include Variable Frequency Drive, Soft Start and custom control panels using Programmable Logic Controllers or relay logic.

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand electrical schematics. Knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components and general wiring practices. Familiar with proper sizing of power cabling per the NEC.
• Hand and power tool operation including drills, jig saws, knockout punches and electric/hydraulic crimpers.
• Computer skills to print wire and component labels
• Retrieve and view component layout photos.
• Assemble components to back pans and enclosures and wire per electrical schematic
