Lantech, a global leader in stretch wrapping technology, is seeking a Panel Builder in Louisville, KY. You'll build wrapping unit control panels from start to finish, mount components, perform enclosure machining, and wire panels while reading electrical schematics.

This role emphasizes craftsmanship, reliability, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with overtime opportunities and quarterly profitability bonuses; the schedule is Monday-Thursday, 6:00 a.m.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

What You’ll Do

As a Panel Builder, you will:

Build wrapping unit control panels from start to finish

Perform enclosure and panel machining

Mount electrical components and complete panel wiring

Use a variety of hand and power tools (strippers, screw guns, crimpers, etc.)

Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Support the Team Leader in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical quality issues as needed

Follow work instructions to ensure panels meet Lantech quality standards

Collaborate with team members to complete panels efficiently and on time

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings

Familiarity with common electrical devices

Basic computer skills (opening and saving files, etc.)

Experience using hand tools

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes

Strong teamwork skills

Good attendance and reliability

Ability to adapt to customer or engineering changes

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues

Desired Experience

Completion of Lantech LEAP class

Demonstrated ability to properly identify and use tools for the job

Previous experience building electrical panels or working in a manufacturing environment
