Job summary

L&S Electric in Rothschild, WI is seeking a skilled manufacturing technician to join our panel shop team. You will work with fellow employees to meet project needs, follow CBPs, and ensure quality using our ISO system.

Ideal candidates read drawings, perform precise hand-work, and support Engineering when needed. We value reliability, safety, and the ability to operate with basic tools in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • Basic tools and PPE required.
  • Fluent English communication essential.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekdays and weekends.
  • Mechanical background preferred.
  • Blueprint and schematic reading required.
  • Experience with pipe/conduit bending and hydraulic components is a plus.
  • Experience with rigging, overhead cranes, and forklift is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Panel shop team to meet project needs.
  • Follow CBPs of manufacturing process.
  • Utilize L&S ISO system to ensure quality products and services.
  • Support Engineering division as requested.
  • Manufacture equipment per drawings and parts list.
  • Validate equipment compliance with drawings and parts list.

Responsibilities
  • Work with other Panel shop employees to complete general project needs.
  • Able to follow the required CBPs of manufacturing process.
  • Utilize L&S Electric ISO system to ensure quality products and services.
  • Support Engineering division as requested.
  • Manufacture equipment that complies with L&S drawings and parts list.
  • Validate compliance with the equipment with L&S drawings and parts list.
Requirements
  • Able to provide basic hand tools needed for the position.
  • Able to wear PPE require for position, as needed.
  • Able to perform fine detail work with hands.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Able to work for any employer in the United States.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekdays, and weekends to meet customer service requirements.
Preferred
  • Mechanical background
  • Blueprint and schematic reading
  • Pipe/conduit bending, heavy machinery maintenance, and experience with hydraulic components
  • Experience with rigging and lifting heavy loads, and operating overhead cranes.
  • Forklift experience.
Physical Demands
  • Occasional lifting of heavy objects.
  • Extended periods of standing and/or bending.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to work in a manufacturing environment.
