Lantech is seeking a Panel Builder to assemble control panels for wrapping unit systems. The role involves building panels from start to finish, machining enclosures, mounting electrical components, and wiring panels to exact drawings.
You will read schematics, troubleshoot with the team, and ensure quality standards are met. The position requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work with hand tools in a 4-day work week environment.
Panel Builder
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Starting Pay: $21.50/hour + Overtime Opportunity + Quarterly Profitability Bonus

As a Panel Builder, you will:
Build wrapping unit control panels from start to finish
Perform enclosure and panel machining
Mount electrical components and complete panel wiring
Use a variety of hand and power tools (strippers, screw guns, crimpers, etc.)
Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
Support the Team Leader in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical quality issues as needed
Follow work instructions to ensure panels meet Lantech quality standards
Collaborate with team members to complete panels efficiently and on time
High School Diploma
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings
Familiarity with common electrical devices
Basic computer skills (opening and saving files, etc.)
Experience using hand tools
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to complete tasks within established timeframes
Strong teamwork skills
Good attendance and reliability
Ability to adapt to customer or engineering changes
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues
Completion of Lantech LEAP class
Demonstrated ability to properly identify and use tools for the job
Previous experience building electrical panels or working in a manufacturing environment
