Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel seeks an Asian Wok Specialist to deliver authentic Pan-Asian dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, vegetables, proteins, and sauces, using traditional wok techniques in a fast-paced casino kitchen.

You will uphold high sanitation and safety standards, manage inventory, and contribute culinary knowledge to bring freshness and artistry to every plate, while communicating in English and Asian languages as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Culinary arts courses or equivalent experience are required.
• 1–3 years experience as a line cook in an Asian restaurant is required.
• Must obtain and maintain Maryland Lottery license as mandated.

Responsibilities

• Prepare items and maintain temperature of items.
• Season and garnish food.
• Prepare soups and sauces.
• Maintain clean and orderly cooking area.
• Maintain inventory and place daily orders.
• Ensure safety and security of employees and guests.
• Monitor and adjust performance as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
