Job summary

Merck is seeking a PAM Team Lead to own strategy and execution for privileged access and secrets management. You will lead a global engineering team, collaborate with IAM Product, architecture, and security to advance Zero Trust and reduce cyber risk.

The role focuses on governance, design, and delivery of PAM capabilities across environments, with strong emphasis on leadership and collaboration with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity/IAM with 7+ years PAM focus.
• Experience leading security engineering teams in a global org.
• Strong knowledge of PAM platforms and multi-cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise PAM strategy, governance, and posture.
• Lead design and delivery of PAM and secrets management.
• Guide daily engineering activities and Agile delivery.
• Partner with IAM Product Owner to manage backlogs and OKRs.
