The Palo Alto Firewall Lead Engineer will act as the technical lead for firewall operations, major incidents, security architecture reviews, and strategic initiatives while providing guidance to operations teams.
Lead Palo Alto Firewall operations and security governance activities. Design and review firewall architectures, segmentation, and security controls. Drive resolution of critical incidents and complex technical issues. Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations, and new deployments. Perform security assessments and policy optimization. Support customer governance, CAB reviews, and audit requirements. Mentor L2/L3 engineers and drive process improvements. Identify automation opportunities and operational efficiencies.
8+ years of Network Security experience. Expert-level knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama. Strong knowledge of GlobalProtect, VPN technologies, NAT, URL Filtering, WildFire, and User-ID. Experience leading technical teams and customer interactions. Strong troubleshooting and architecture skills. PCNSE certification preferred.
Working hours are from 7am to 5pm each weekday.
Mandatory Skills: Palo Alto Networks - Firewalls. Experience: 8-10 Years. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000.
