Job summary

Koch Technology is seeking a Network Security Analyst to join the Infrastructure Security Firewalls Service. This role emphasizes project delivery and engineering work while maintaining day-to-day operations, protecting Perimeter (Palo Alto) and PCN/OT (FortiGate) environments.

The team focuses on delivering high-priority security initiatives with strong engineering judgment and collaboration with operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting enterprise network security environments with firewalls.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver project-based engineering work plus operational support.
• Experience with TCP/IP, routing, VPN, proxy, and segmentation concepts.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in firewall engineering design, configuration, testing and implementation for priority initiatives.
• Deliver complex rule packages and access designs with clear documentation.
• Collaborate with application teams and site contacts to translate requirements into secure network solutions.
• Provide technical leadership on firewall architecture, standards and best practices.
• Support day-to-day operations including break/fix, monitoring and compliance for Perimeter and OT environments.
• Assist in the on-call rotation and improve delivery processes.
