Koch Technology seeks a Network Security Analyst to join the Infrastructure Security Firewalls Service, focusing on project delivery and engineering work across Perimeter (Palo Alto) and PCN/OT (FortiGate) environments. The role balances ownership of meaningful delivery outcomes with ongoing operations support.

The team supports enterprise perimeter and OT security across units. Location options include Wichita, KS; Atlanta, GA; Plano, TX, with in-office presence and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting complex enterprise network security environments, including firewalls (Palo Alto and/or Fortinet preferred).
• Delivery of project-based and engineering work in addition to operational support.
• Experience with TCP/IP, routing, VPN, proxy, segmentation.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project-driven firewall engineering work for priority initiatives.
• Deliver complex rule packages, access designs, and secure configurations with clear documentation.
• Translate business requirements into secure network security solutions with cross-team collaboration.
• Contribute engineering judgment and leadership on firewall architecture and best practices.
• Support day-to-day operations including break/fix, monitoring, and compliance for Palo Alto and FortiGate.
• Manage flow of standard rule changes and access requests to maintain throughput.
• Participate in sustainable on-call rotations and improve response quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes and documentation.
• Share knowledge and mentor peers to reduce silos.
• Apply Principle Based Management principles in daily decisions.
