Job summary

A leading health organization in York, PA is seeking a Palliative Care Physician. The role focuses on inpatient consultative care for adult patients, conducting goals-of-care conversations, and managing expert symptom care. This position offers a daytime schedule (no call, nights, or weekends) with a minimum commitment of 4-6 shifts per month. The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO and ideally 4+ years of hospice or palliative care experience. Qualifications

• Passion for high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consultative palliative care for adult patients.
• Engage in goals-of-care conversations with patients and families.
• Manage up to 4 new consults and approximately 7 patient visits daily.

• Completion of a Family Practice or Internal Medicine residency. Upon Hire Required and
• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital. Upon Hire Required and
• Harvard Palliative Care Training. Upon Hire Required and
• Proof of Added Competency in Palliative Care (e.g., Decisions Near the End of Life Faculty, EPEC faculty, CMEs related to Palliative Care/End of Life Care, other). Upon Hire Required
