HopeHealth in Providence, RI, seeks a full-time Palliative Care Physician to join the Supportive Care team with Brown University Health Cancer Institute and Rhode Island Hospital. The role splits 50/50 between inpatient and outpatient settings, with opportunities for teaching fellows, residents and medical students.

Board-certified or eligible in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is required; fellowship trained candidates are preferred.

Qualifications

• Board certification in HPM or board-eligible
• Fellowship in palliative care preferred
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient palliative care
• Academic appointment at Brown University is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient palliative care to oncology patients
• Teach palliative care fellows, residents, and students
• Participate in quality improvement and research initiatives
• Support clinical education activities at Brown University
