Job summary

HopeHealth invites a Board-Certified/Eligible Palliative Care Physician to join the Supportive Care team at Brown University Health Cancer Institute and Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI. The position includes 50% inpatient duties at RI Hospital and 50% outpatient work at the BUHCI clinic, with opportunities for teaching and academic collaboration.

The role entails involvement in clinical education, quality improvement, and a strong interdisciplinary team-based approach to care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
• Fellowship trained in palliative care preferred.
• Strong teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide palliative care services in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Participate in teaching of fellows, residents and medical students.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient-centered care plans.
• Support research and quality improvement initiatives within BUHCI and RI Hospital.
