Responsibilities

• Provide medical patient care by examining, diagnosing and treating clinical patients to meet medical needs.
• Educate patients and families on wellness, prevention and early detection with materials and resources and determine need for referrals.
• Exercise final medical judgment in all issues of health care.
• Prescribe medical treatment and clinical drugs to patients.
• Document all services in patient’s electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement, continuing education and other patient care programs.
• Provide clinical oversight to a medical staff including a medical assistant.
