Job summary

Qualifications

GA PA/NP license from the Georgia Composite Medical Board.
1–3 years of Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner experience.
Experience in palliative care, geriatrics, oncology, or acute/critical care settings.
Board certification as Family or Adult NP and current RN license or Board Certified PA.
Experience with patients who have complex medical, co-morbid and psychosocial problems.

Responsibilities

Provides dedicated inpatient consultative Palliative Care services for hospitalized patients with serious, complex, and life-limiting illnesses
Working collaboratively with Palliative Care physicians and an interdisciplinary team
Conducts comprehensive inpatient palliative care consultations, assessing the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients
Completes timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
