Ideal candidates hold an NP license in Maryland, with advanced certifications in hospice/palliative care and at least five years in healthcare, including hospice or palliative care exposure.

Qualifications

• Current RN/NP license in Maryland; NP practice in adult, family or geriatrics preferred.
• MD NP license with Active registration.
• Rotation in hospital, hospice or palliative care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as palliative medicine consultant in hospital, nursing facility, and home settings.
• Provide recommendations for care plans, symptom management and goals of care.
• Collaborate with staff and attending physicians to implement plans.
