Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a Nurse Practitioner specialized in geriatrics/palliative care to join the Gilchrist Lifecare Institute in Towson. The role involves palliative medicine consultation in hospital, nursing facilities, and home settings.

Successful candidate will have NP license in Maryland with Adult/Family/Geriatrics specialization; 5+ years in healthcare and 1 year in hospice/palliative care; CPR and HPCC/ACHPN preferred.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner program completed; Master’s in Palliative Care preferred.
• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner by Maryland with specialization in Adult/Family/Geriatrics.
• At least five years of healthcare experience; at least one year in Hospice/Palliative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide palliative care consultation in hospital, nursing facility, and home settings.
• Recommend care plans, symptom management, and goals of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and care teams.
