Job summary

Lower Cape Fear LifeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate palliative care services at NHRMC in Wilmington, NC. You will work under the Chief Medical Officer and collaborate with inpatient and outpatient teams to drive referrals and provide patient-focused care.

You will educate clinicians and families about palliative options, maintain relationships with physicians, and support LCFL’s mission and marketing goals. This role requires strong communication and adaptability.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current NC nursing license to practice.
• Two years of experience preferred (hospice/home care).
• Experience in marketing, public affairs, community relations, or hospital liaison nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate palliative care services at NHRMC with the care team.
• Refer patients to palliative care or hospice as appropriate.
• Educate physicians, nurses, and staff about palliative care and hospice differences.
