Advocate Health is seeking a qualified RN/APRN for a full-time Palliative Care role at Illinois Masonic. The position involves 40 hours weekly with 8-hour onsite shifts, 5 days per week, and call coverage from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Weekend coverage rotates.

Join a large health system focused on compassionate, patient-centered care. Applicants must hold an RN and APRN license, be board-certified, and possess DEA and Illinois CS licenses as applicable.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN license in state(s) of practice.
• Active national board certification in area of clinical practice.
• Active DEA registration prior to hire.
• Illinois Controlled Substance License prior to hire.
• Active BLS and/or ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical practice.
• Education Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Experience Required: No experience required

Responsabilités

• Assesses, diagnoses, and determines treatment and management plans for age and clinical condition.
• Manages conditions based on evidence-based care and risk/benefit assessment.
• Provides health promotion and disease prevention counseling.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team and escalates when needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and compliant coding/billing.
