Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Deerfield Beach, FL is hiring a Manufacturing Associate to perform quality inspections, label verification, and paperwork with GMP compliance. You will maintain clean equipment, assist with changeovers, and support various production tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates are dependable team players with strong attendance, able to lift heavy loads, and willing to work all shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuous production.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate GMP compliance and safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 25 lbs repetitively, 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must be able to push/pull full tubs of product (500 lbs).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
• Must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Must follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Must have basic math skills.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
