Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Deerfield Beach, FL is seeking a full-time sanitation associate to support production lines. You will disassemble and clean detachable equipment, apply chemicals, and maintain clean storage and environmental areas.

The role requires forklift operation, GMP adherence, and the ability to work across shifts, including nights and weekends, with strong teamwork and reliability. The position involves moving and organizing racks and heavy items, inspecting for safety, and

• Disassembling and cleaning, sanitizing and reassembling all detachable production equipment.

• Transporting racks, tubs, cardboard and equipment using forklift/pallet jack.
• Maintaining cleanliness of walls, vents, doors, drains and garbage cans.
• Collaborating with multiple departments to meet sanitation needs.
• Organizing air and water hoses.
• Rinsing out empty drums and assisting chemical storage.
• Operating and maintaining floor scrubber.
• Supporting housekeeping duties as needed and other tasks assigned.

Required Qualifications

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
