Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Maintenance & Equipment worker to plan ahead and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment to keep lines running smoothly.

You will interact with associates, managers and regulatory personnel, ensuring GMP compliance and safety. Must be able to work at heights, operate a forklift, and cover various shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate GMP knowledge and safe working habits.
• Able to lift 50 pounds frequently and work at heights.
• Must obtain forklift license and operate forklift safely.
• Willing to work all shifts, including nights and holidays.

Required Qualifications

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.
