Job summary

Ajinomoto Foods North America, Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to inspect products, assemble and pack according to line standards, and support a safe, efficient production line. You will lift up to 50 pounds, monitor packaging, and maintain proper labeling and sealing while following GMP and SSOP guidelines.

Plant temperatures average around 50 degrees; be prepared for a fast-paced environment and use PPE as required. Prior food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Prefer High School Diploma/GED.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and self-driven.
• Experience in a food manufacturing plant is preferred.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or pack product meeting line standards.
• Lift and move cases weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Check packaging material for damage and notify leadership of any non-compliant products.
• Perform line sanitation and housekeeping practices and monitor packing equipment for issues.
• Ensure correct pallet label and sticker information is applied and stack cases on pallets.
• Understand case pack sizes and weight ranges and adjust tape machine configurations accordingly.
• Maintain speed and flexibility to adapt to different line speeds and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
