Genuine Parts Company is seeking a warehouse associate to stage products on pallets, shrink wrap for secure transit, and load pallets onto trucks. The role requires operating a pallet jack or forklift, inspecting trailers, and ensuring accurate packing for delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with mechanical aids.
• Able to bend, stoop and reach eight feet with ladder or stool when needed.

Responsibilities

• Stages product on pallets, shrink wraps to prevent loss, and loads pallets on trucks.
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensures correct parts are placed on the correct truck and packs the right parts for delivery with accuracy and speed.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintains the integrity of products through proper handling and storage.
• Keeps work area clean to avoid accidents and enable rapid loading.
• Pulls stock orders until time to load trucks as needed.
• Assists with processing other DC shuttles.
• Works in a safe manner following all safety procedures, rules and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
