Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Missouri seeks a warehouse associate to stage, palletize and load products by trip and store numbers, shrink-wrap loads for safe transport, and assist with pallet building. You will also help select products for specific routes and operate a pallet jack or forklift as needed.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent experience; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or 6 months of equivalent work experience required.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Regular, reliable attendance required.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, bend, reach eight feet with ladder.

Responsibilities

• Stage product on pallets and shrink wrap to prevent loss.
• Load pallets on trucks.
• Inspect trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensure correct parts on the right truck with accurate routing.
• Operate pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling.
• Keep work area clean to prevent accidents.
• Pull stock orders as needed.
• Assist with processing other DC shuttles.
• Follow safety procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
