Job summary

Fresh Select LLC in Dinuba, CA is seeking a Palletizer to stack packed fruit products onto pallets, ensure correct labeling, and maintain quality standards for efficient warehouse operations.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Palletizer is responsible for stacking and organizing packed fruit products onto pallets for shipping and distribution. This role ensures products are stacked securely, labeled accurately, and meet quality standards to maintain efficient warehouse and logistics operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Retrieves packed fruit boxes from the packing line and stack them onto pallets according to specified patterns and stacking requirements to maintain load stability.
• Uses pallet strapping machines and wrap pallets to secure stacked boxes for shipping and prevent load shifting during transport.
• Operates manual or electric pallet jacks to move empty bins, full pallets, and other materials around the packing area or to designated staging zones.
• Inspects fruit boxes for visible damage or labeling errors, ensuring only high-quality, properly labeled products are palletized.
• Follows all workplace safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Keeps work areas clean and organized, removing debris, and ensuring pallet stacks do not obstruct walkways or equipment paths.
• Coordinates with packing line workers, forklift operators, and quality control staff to maintain an efficient production flow.

POSITION REQUIREMENT

• Prior experience in a warehouse, packing house, or similar physical labor role is preferred (training can be provided).
• Ability to lift and carry heavy boxes (up to 50 lbs), stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of basic equipment operation (pallet jacks, strapping machines).
• Forklift or pallet jack certification is a plus but not required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and forklifts. The noise level in the work environment and job site can be loud. Temperature in the work site can vary and can get hot due to outside climate or cold due to the cold storage area. Ability to work in production/warehouse/shipping areas 100% of the time.

Ability to work in cold and hot environment. Standing, sitting, and walking for prolong periods. Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 lbs. and occasionally push/pull/lift 50+lbs. Occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear all required PPE.
