Job summary

Maker's Pride in Indiana seeks a robotic palletizing operator with sit-down forklift experience. This role requires strict adherence to safety rules and food safety/quality policies, ensuring processes are followed to minimize variability in product handling.

You will monitor palletizing machines, handle SKU-based stacking, and communicate with leads while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Shift options and overtime are available, with a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have SIT-DOWN forklift experience.
• PIT Certification and LOTO knowledge required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle pallets safely.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic palletizing machines and ensure proper stacking per SKU and line.
• Index full pallets and wrap with plastic.
• Enter data into the SAP system.
• Maintain frequent communication with leads and/or supervisor.
• Keep pallets, slip sheets and supplies on hand.
• Adhere to safety policies (LOTO, PPE, PIT) and housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot basic machine faults and reset pallet counts when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday + Overtime/Weekends

• 1st Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00PM to 10:30PM
• 3rd Shift: 10:00PM to 6:30AM

Job Summary:

MUST HAVE SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE. This position has the responsibility to always comply with Safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures, and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed, and complied with uniformly, to reduce product and process variability. The purpose of the robotic palletizing operator is to monitor the robotic palletizing machines, following all safety policies and procedures, as they collect cases/cartons according to product SKU and line.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to safety policies such as LOTO, PPE, PIT and Assumes personal responsibility to insure safe and healthy workplace for everyone.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and incorporate safety and health in all jobs and tasks.
• Always ensures regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to safety policies such as LOTO, PPE, PIT and Housekeeping.
• Operate the robotic palletizing machines ensuring cases are properly stacked according to product SKU and line.
• Ensure all full pallets are indexed and wrapped with plastic.
• Enter data into the SAP system.
• Maintain frequent communication with leads and/or supervisor.
• Keep empty pallets, slip sheets and other necessary supplies on hand for the job.
• Work through the HMI (Human Machine Interface) Determine if product meets proper specifications or not and take corrective action as needed.
• Stack cases of product manually as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and general good housekeeping of the palletizing area, keeping all debris and dirt swept up.
• Clear case jams and reset machine and pallet count when/if needed.
• Troubleshoot basic machine faults and follow prompting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification
• Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)
• Ability lifts to 50 lbs. safely when handling pallets for hand stacking finished outgoing product.
• Ability to work independently at times.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to travel stairs.
