Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is seeking a forklift operator for our Sumter, SC facility. You will perform pallet picking, packing, and RF-verified order processing on a 3-2-2-3 schedule with weekends included.

Expected to operate a Walkie Rider, lift up to 50 lbs, and work from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Background checks are in progress, and drug screening is required within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Experience with Walkie Rider (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks or projects.
• Ability to work in a fast paced distribution environment.
• Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• May be required to operate MHE and use Voice/RF scanner.

Responsibilities

• Pallet/Case Picking and processing customer orders, scanning bar codes.
• Pick and pack orders and prepare for shipment.
• Process orders through RF technology and maintain clean work area.
• Follow GDP and SOP for documentation and training profiles.
• Build and re-palletize for shipment and dock manifest duties.
• Transport pallets using MHE and ensure accuracy in packing and labeling.
• Follow safety instructions and attend to attendance policies.
• Assist as required and act as back-up during absences or vacations.

10 Panel Drug Screen Required-CANDIDATE MUST COMPLETE DS WITHIN 48 hours of acceptance of job offer.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS OF PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE DRIVING A FORKLIFT, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Candidates with previous work experience driving a Stand Up Forklift will have first preference.

Candidates can start while background checks are pending, once the drug screening and criminal background checks have cleared.
Candidate is expected to lift up to 50lbs unassisted, required.

General Summary Duties and Responsibilities

Pallet/Case Picking Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes. Pick and pack orders. Processing orders through RF technology. Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions. Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Build Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets. Re-palletizing products for shipment. May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper. May be required to transport pallets by walking MHE. Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Additional Duties Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. May be required to perform other duties as assigned. Must adhere to attendance policies. Required to maintain current status in C2C training modules. Quality Understand organizational quality goals. Safety and Security Associates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety requirements. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse and conduct all activities in a manner that promotes a safe environment. All injuries, accidents, unsafe acts, hazards or conditions must be reported immediately. Report any suspicious persons or activity. Sanitation and Housekeeping Maintain a clean and professional image. To ensure the cleanliness of the facility, follow guidelines as outlined. The associate must maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times. Cross-training Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation.
