Job summary

O-I is hiring at its plant to operate a Machine Operator / Palletizer on rotating 8-hour shifts, spanning 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with days off rotating.

You will manage pallets, straps, forklifts, and automatic palletizers, ensure load integrity and proper strap tension, perform housekeeping, and report equipment issues to supervision.

Competitive hourly wage at $27.28 with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a regular basis.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule, with weekend and holiday requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• High School Graduate or GED.

Responsibilities

• Operates strapping machines and automatic palletizers; supplies load-building materials; moves loads using forklift.
• Maintains supply of pallets, tier sheets, shrouds, strapping, and other material.
• Checks for proper strap application and tension; secures loads.
