Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Warehouse Associate Palletizer for the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday). The role builds pallets, operates RF scanners and pallet jacks, and ensures accurate shipment preparation in a high-volume DC. Training in powered equipment and splitting area procedures is required.

Must meet productivity, safety, and quality standards; bilingual English/Spanish preferred. On-site role with full-time hours and OSJL total rewards apply.

Qualifications

• Complete Powered Equipment Training Program and obtain license.
• Complete Splitting Area Training Program and pass proficiency test.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and obtain any applicable license.
• English speaking, reading, and comprehension; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
• Meet area productivity, quality, safety, housekeeping, and attendance standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, wrap, and stack pallets according to established standards.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Operate and inspect walkie talkies and pallet jacks (powered/manual).
• Complete RF scanning, consolidation, and documentation.
• Label and date merchandise with identification numbers and packing information.
• Maintain a neat, clean work area and follow safety/OSHA guidelines.
