Job summary

PLA and its Family of Companies is recruiting a Warehouse General Labor Pallet Sorter for multiple shifts at our Ottawa, KS facility. The role focuses on inspecting and sorting pallets to meet PLA standards, with attention to damaged or incorrect pallets and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

You will operate across shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) with pay progression and comprehensive benefits. Daily and weekly pay options are offered along with PTO, health coverage, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates attention to detail to identify pallet defects and criteria.
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with production targets.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove debris from pallets and sort pallets by type and condition.
• Inspect pallets for quality criteria while sorting and maintain production pace.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
