48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Repairer in Phoenix, AZ. This is a piece-rate position with earnings based on pallets repaired; training is provided and hourly pay of $20.00/hr is listed, with period pay of $15.50/hr or piece rate.

You’ll receive wood, assemble pallets with a nail gun, and stack finished goods for forklift movement. Safety, quality, and the ability to lift about 50 lbs are required; overtime may be necessary. Location: 425 S 67th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85043.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Good hand speed, attention to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company.
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods.
