48forty Solutions is seeking a Pallet Repairer in Hammond, LA to build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This is a piece-rate role where earnings scale with output, starting at $15.00 per hour for a full shift.

Responsibilities include receiving materials, assembling pallets, and maintaining safety and quality standards. The position runs Monday–Friday during day shift and offers benefits and future career growth within our pallet-management team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift pallets weighing about 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Must have quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Able to communicate effectively and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and assemble with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished pallets for forklift movement to proper areas.
• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain high quality while handling a high volume of pallets.
