48forty Solutions in Houston, TX is seeking a Pallet Repairer to build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This is a piece-rate role where earnings increase with throughput, with an hourly base of $14.00 per hour.

Shifts are Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, at 4847 Blaffer St. Candidates need a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift about 50 lbs, and a willingness to work overtime. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), PTO, and paid daily wages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in lumber/warehouse/construction is highly preferred.
• Quick hands and attention to quality.
• Effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move.
• Follow safety procedures to protect yourself and others.
• Maintain high quality while achieving high production volume.
