Job summary

48forty Solutions is seeking a Pallet Repairer in Dallas, TX to build and repair wooden pallets from fresh or recycled wood. This is a piece-rate role with hourly pay of $17.00/hr plus piece rate, and shifts Monday–Friday 6:00am–1:30pm at 2805 Mican Drive, Dallas.

You will receive wood, nail together on set strings, stack finished goods for forklift movement, and follow safety procedures while delivering high-quality pallets in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred.
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive wood from saw shop and piece together with nail gun along set stringers.
• Stack finished product by hand for forklift operators to move to appropriate areas.
• Ensure safety for yourself and others by following all procedures as set by the company.
• Achieve high standards of quality while maintaining high volume of finished goods.
