Job summary

CHEP UK Ltd. seeks a hands-on Repair Operator to join a fast-paced pallet repair and assembly environment. You will operate a pneumatic nail gun, inspect pallet components, and ensure repairs meet quality standards. The role requires lifting heavy pallets, standing for long periods, and strict safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Repair Operators must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance.
• Must also be able to concentrate on tasks.
• The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Repair or assemble pallets using a pneumatic nail gun as needed.
• Place pallets on repair table, replace defective boards, and nail them in place.
• Coordinate with assembly to stock boards and nails for pallets.
• Troubleshoot jams and perform basic maintenance on saws.
• Stand for long periods and lift pallets weighing 50-75 lbs.
