Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Pallet Repair Technician in Tyler, TX to assist customers with damaged pallets, restoring them to service-ready condition and preparing them for shipment.

You will work Saturday-Monday 5:30am-6:00pm or Tuesday-Friday 3:30pm-2:00am, earning about $16 per hour. The role requires a HS diploma, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 85 pounds while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated, experience safely operating air-driven, electric, and manual woodworking tools.
• High school degree or GED required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills needed.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately complete production paperwork to track progress.
• Utilize appropriate tools and methods to return damaged pallets to service-ready condition.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager regularly.
• Examine products after repairing to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Efficiently work without constant supervision to achieve production quotas in the repair area safely.
• Hand stack pallets to appropriate heights.
• Load and unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Move pallets, or materials on pallets or in crates, to the appropriate staging area.
• Check loads to make sure they are secure.
• Coordinate trailers moves within yard management system.
