Job summary

PLA and its Family of Companies is seeking a Skilled Warehouse Laborer - Pallet Repair to join our Springfield, MO facility. You will inspect pallets, repair damaged sections, and maintain tools while following safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manual labor or a similar field.
• Familiarity with nail guns, power saws, and/or hand tools.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift for 8 to 10 hours.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment (dust, noise, changing temperatures).
• Reliable transportation and availability for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pallets for damage, wear, and structural issues.
• Use tools like nail guns and power saws to repair pallets.
• Replace boards, reinforce weak areas, and remove/replacing nails.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear proper PPE.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
