Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Pallet Repair Attendant Class IV in Fort Smith, AR. The role involves repairing pallets, operating a forklift, moving pallets and supplies, and handling related paperwork. You’ll work in conditions tied to weather and may be exposed to noise and lifting duties.

Requirements include forklift certification, pallet lift operation, 6 months of recent work history, and 3 months of machinery experience. Internal candidates considered first.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years.
• Must have a minimum 3 months operating machinery in a processing/factory environment.
• Must be willing to take and pass forklift operation certification and operate a pallet lift.

Responsibilities

• Repair broken wood pallets.
• Operate a forklift to move pallets and supplies to and from the grounds and trailers.
• Communicate with management and co-workers and process paperwork necessary to position.
• Be backup for Palletizer to help slip breaks and assist in yard positions.
