Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Forklift Operator for 1st shift. You will move totes, pallets and supplies between trailers, production lines and freezer areas, while ensuring safe ramp operations and effective communication with supervisors. Must be able to lift up to 95 lbs and operate a forklift for long shifts in a loud, industrial environment.

Starting pay is $18.25 per hour. Benefits start Day 1 and include medical, dental, vision, 401k and more.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of continuous work history within the past 2 years.
• Minimum of 6 months forklift operating experience in manufacturing/production or warehouse.
• Willingness to take and pass forklift operator certification.

Responsibilities

• Move totes to and from trailers and finish totes to the freezer.
• Move trash, pallets, supplies to and from the dock and production lines.
• Lock/unlock ramp as trailers dock; communicate with management and co-workers.
• Operate forklift for 8 to 12 hours; lift, push, pull up to 95 lbs.
