Job summary

Genuine Parts Company seeks a warehouse associate to stage, shrink wrap, and load products by trip and store numbers. The role prepares palletized loads for shipment, balances and positions items for safe transport, and assists with pallet building for routes.

The candidate must have a high school diploma or 6 months experience, with forklift certification preferred. Attention to detail, reliability, and physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs are essential.

• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and push/pull up to 300 lbs with aids.

Responsibilities

• Stages product on pallets, shrink wraps, and loads pallets on trucks.
• Inspects trailers for suitability before loading.
• Ensures correct parts are placed on the correct truck and routes products efficiently.
• Operates pallet jack or forklift as needed.
• Maintains product integrity with proper handling and storage.
• Keeps work area clean to prevent accidents and enable rapid loading.
• Pulls stock orders as needed for loading.
• Assists with processing other DC shuttles.
• Follows safety procedures and performs other duties as assigned.
