48forty Solutions is hiring a Pallet Builder in Atlanta, GA. This production-based role involves assembling and repairing wooden pallets from recycled materials, with early responsibilities and training to meet daily quotas.

The position emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork within a shift running 7:00am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities accompany hourly pay from $14 to $25.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required.
• Completion of a craft apprenticeship preferred.
• Requires quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality.
• Observance of all safety rules and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to solve practical problems in varied conditions.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions.
• Experience operating woodworking tools (air-driven, electric, pneumatic, and manual).
• Experience in welding, lumbering, construction, carpentry, or roofing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Return damaged pallets to service-ready condition using appropriate tools and methods.
• Communicate effectively with Production Supervisors, Assistant Plant Manager, and Plant Manager.
• Examine repaired pallets to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment per 48forty’s standards.
• Build the required number of pallets after training.
• Repair the required number of pallets after training.
• Work without constant supervision to meet production quotas safely.
• Stack pallets or materials according to inventory control instructions.
• Check loads to ensure they are secure.
