Qualifications

• PhD in Life Sciences or Computer Science (preferably genomics) or Anthropology with genomics experience.
• Strong background in population genetics and bioinformatics.
• Experience analyzing whole genome datasets; ancient DNA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with PIs and project technicians on study design and data generation.
• Conduct bioinformatic analyses on ancient and modern genomic datasets
• Write manuscripts in support of the LMAMR projects
• Mentor undergraduate, graduate and visiting students
• Work closely with the PIs and project stakeholders on collaborative activities with tribal communities and resource managers
• Contribute to the LMAMR community
• Co-write grants for additional funding and support
• Participate in science communication endeavors
• Travel for project meetings/sample collection as needed
