Job summary

The Lessard Lab at Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation is seeking a Research Technician at levels I–IV to perform cell and molecular biology techniques including in vitro culture, CRISPR editing, flow cytometry, and single cell sequencing.

You will maintain detailed records, prepare samples for publications, and collaborate with the lab team to ensure smooth operations. A BS/BA in a biological science is required, with strong multi-tasking and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in one of the biological sciences, physics, chemistry, or related area.
• Ability to multitask and work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to document results accurately.

Responsibilities

• Supports improvement of lab procedures and protocols.
• Performs routine lab tasks and documents results for evaluation.
• Maintains lab notebook and reports results to supervisor.
• Orders lab supplies and ensures equipment availability.
• Maintains safe and organized laboratory environment.
