Job summary

American Trim is seeking a Process Engineer – Paints & Coatings to provide technical leadership for our industrial paint and coating operations. The role blends hands-on manufacturing support with process engineering and project leadership across Engineering, Quality, Production, Tooling and our customers to develop new processes and improve existing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
• Ability to develop project plans; coordinate projects; communicates changes and progress; completes projects on time and budget.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement effective engineering solutions to improve processes and efficiency.
• Support new and existing products through process development and troubleshooting.
• Lead project planning, equipment/layout development, and cost estimation.
• Develop and maintain supporting documents for activities and training staff on new processes.
