Job summary

The Chemico Group is seeking a Process Engineer to manage and optimize chemical and related processes in an automotive paint manufacturing environment. You will apply knowledge of paint-shop processes and process chemistry to ensure customer requirements, production targets, and documented parameters are met, while leading continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or Chemistry/Biology/Biochemistry.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of previous experience in chemical management.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract construction, negotiation, and application.

Responsibilities

• Interface with automotive paint-shop personnel to support chemical and process management.
• Monitor and optimize paint processes and chemical systems to meet requirements.
• Develop operating parameters, control plans, work instructions, and chemical procedures.
• Manage chemical systems within defined parameters.
• Perform chemical testing, sampling, titrations, and laboratory analysis.
• Coordinate technical service activities with suppliers.
