Job summary

Chemico in Tennessee seeks a Process Engineer to optimize automotive paint processes, manage chemical systems, and translate chemistry into practical manufacturing solutions. You will work with customer production, quality, maintenance, and suppliers to drive improvements and ensure target achievement.

The role requires strong data analysis, problem-solving, and hands-on process testing on the shop floor. Travel and on-site presence are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of automotive paint-shop processes and chemistry.
• Ability to interpret process data and identify trends.
• Experience with quality systems and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Interface with paint-shop personnel to support process management.
• Monitor and optimize paint processes to meet production and quality targets.
• Develop operating parameters, control plans, and procedures.
• Coordinate chemical delivery and supplier performance.
• Support process trials, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
